Ravanusa ricorda le vittime dello scoppio dell’11 dicembre 2021 con un evento commemorativo e artistico

Ieri la comunità di Ravanusa si è riunita per commemorare il terzo anniversario del tragico scoppio dell’11 dicembre 2021, che causò la perdita di dieci vite. La giornata si è aperta con una messa commemorativa, celebrata per onorare il ricordo delle vittime, a cui ha preso parte un gran numero di cittadini, familiari e autorità locali.

Dopo la cerimonia religiosa, i partecipanti si sono diretti in via delle Scuole, luogo simbolo della tragedia. Qui si è svolta la performance site-specific Preghiera per il Ricominciamento, organizzata grazie all’impegno del Sindaco Salvatore Pitrola e delle associazioni Deep Sicily e Borgo Remise. L’iniziativa, curata dalla storica dell’arte Dott.ssa Mara Jvonne Raia, ha proposto un viaggio introspettivo e artistico con l’obiettivo di trasformare il ricordo doloroso in un’occasione di rinascita collettiva.

La performance si è articolata in dieci momenti simbolici, accompagnati dal violoncello di Manuel Zigante, dalla live electronics di Riccardo Mazza e dalla voce narrante di Maurizio Sazio. L’armonia musicale e poetica ha offerto ai presenti una riflessione profonda sulla forza dei legami affettivi, anche di fronte alla perdita.

L’evento ha trasmesso un messaggio potente: dalla distruzione può nascere la possibilità di ricominciare, di trovare bellezza anche nelle macerie, accettando il dolore come parte integrante della vita. Come sottolineato durante la performance, il “ricominciamento” richiede forza, accettazione e visione, ma può anche aprire la strada a nuove scoperte e rivelazioni.

Questa giornata, scandita dal silenzio rispettoso e dall’arte, ha ricordato alla comunità il valore sacro della vita, celebrando non solo il ricordo delle vittime, ma anche la resilienza di chi resta.
