Casse Comuni di Sicilia, petizione in Parlamento

L’Associazione dei Comuni di Sicilia ha depositato una petizione alla Camera per la revisione dei criteri di riparto del Fondo di solidarietà comunale.

I vertici dell’Anci, l’Associazione dei Comuni di Sicilia, ovvero il presidente Paolo Amenta e il segretario generale Mario Emanuele Alvano, annunciano la presentazione alla Camera dei Deputati di una petizione, la numero 1185, che si potrà sottoscrivere firmando online tramite spid o carta d’identità elettronica, collegandosi ad un apposito link indicato sul sito dell’associazione. La petizione intende sostenere la vertenza dell’Anci sui 200 milioni di euro sottratti ai Comuni siciliani al fine di revisionare i criteri utilizzati dal ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze per la distribuzione del Fondo di solidarietà comunale. Dunque si sollecita in tal modo il Parlamento nazionale a modificare il metodo di riparto. Amenta e Alvano spiegano nel dettaglio: “Per la Sicilia la distribuzione della quota del Fondo di solidarietà comunale continua a basarsi in larga parte sulla spesa storica e non sui fabbisogni standard, determinando una penalizzazione stimata in circa 200 milioni di euro annui, in termini di tagli sui servizi essenziali, dagli asili nido all’assistenza sociale. Abbiamo invitato tutti i sindaci a firmare la petizione e a coinvolgere altri amministratori e cittadini. Siamo convinti che questo forte sostegno popolare possa favorire la convocazione di un incontro risolutivo al Ministero. E’ una iniziativa che si affianca alla richiesta già avanzata formalmente dalla Regione siciliana, che ha condiviso la nostra battaglia e ha chiesto un confronto con il governo nazionale. Non possiamo più accettare che i Comuni della Sicilia siano trattati in modo diseguale. Serve un intervento concreto e immediato per superare definitivamente il criterio della spesa storica e adottare parametri che tengano conto dei reali fabbisogni dei territori. E’ tempo di dare ai Comuni siciliani le risorse necessarie per garantire pari diritti di cittadinanza”.
