“Paracco” di Palma di Montechiaro: sei condanne e sei assoluzioni

Il Tribunale di Agrigento ha sentenziato 6 condanne e 6 assoluzioni nell’ambito dell’inchiesta “Oro Bianco”, ruotante intorno ad un “paracco” di Palma di Montechiaro.

Il 2 ottobre del 2021 la Procura antimafia di Palermo, tramite i pubblici ministeri Claudio Camilleri, Gianluca De Leo e Pierangelo Padova, ha depositato al Tribunale istanza di rinvio a giudizio di 35 imputati nell’ambito dell’inchiesta antimafia nell’Agrigentino cosiddetta “Oro bianco”, ruotante intorno, soprattutto, ai clan mafiosi di Palma di Montechiaro, un “paracco”, e sfociata il 13 gennaio del 2021 nell’omonima operazione dei Carabinieri. Il 20 dicembre del 2021, in occasione dell’udienza preliminare innanzi al Tribunale di Agrigento, 23 imputati hanno scelto di essere giudicati in abbreviato, e altri 12 sono stati rinviati a giudizio ordinario. Il 23 maggio del 2024 il pubblico ministero Pierangelo Padova, a conclusione della requisitoria, ha invocato, innanzi alla sezione penale del Tribunale di Agrigento presieduta da Alfonso Malato, la condanna di 10 dei 12 imputati in ordinario. Adesso è stata emessa la sentenza:
Sarino Lo Vasco, 57 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, presunto “capo decina”, 10 anni di reclusione,
Tommaso Vitanza, 74 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, 10 anni,
Roberto Alletto, 39 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, 8 anni,
Vincenzo Fallea, 46 anni, di Favara, 7 anni,
Giovanni Pietro Scaccia, 55 anni, di Canicattì, 6 anni,
Calogero Monterosso, 41 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, 6 anni.
Assolti:
Rosario Meli, 40 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro,
Salvatore Curto, 42 anni, di Canicattì,
Vincenzo Bennardo, 45 anni, di Favara,
Maurizio Licata, 57 anni, di Licata,
Vincenzo Curto, 45 anni, di Canicattì,
Vincenzo Messina, 39 anni, di Canicattì.
Dal capo d’imputazione il pubblico ministero ha cancellato l’ipotesi di reato di associazione a delinquere finalizzata allo spaccio di sostanze stupefacenti. E così ha condiviso il Tribunale.
