CHISSA’ SE UN ALTRO ASILO VERRA’ COSTRUITO NEL PARCO DELL’ADDOLORATA…

Siracusa che fu prima alleata e poi antagonista di Agrigento, ha al suo merito importanti traguardi raggiunti come il risanamento di Ortigia e del suo centro storico grazie ad una legge regionale che nel suo indirizzo aveva pure previsto il risanamento del centro storico della nostra città. Gli amministratori aretusei hanno avuto la capacità di utilizzare appieno le risorse assegnate dalla Regione Siciliana, mentre Agrigento, come è sua tradizione, ama solo coccolarsi in danno del suo centro storico rinunziando ai benefici previsti dalla legge. Stessa cosa per il teatro di pietra dell’Addolorata lasciato nel più assoluto abbandono mentre al teatro di Siracusa migliaia e migliaia di spettatori assistono alle rappresentazioni classiche. Da tempo, riconosciuta l’incapacità degli amministratori agrigentini di rendere fruibile il Parco della Addolorata e del meraviglioso teatro dalla capienza di tre mila posti a sedere, si è suggerito di cedere l’intera area in comodato d’uso al Parco archeologico. Nessuno ascolta e nessuno decide. Eppure vi è l’esempio del Palacongressi che sotto il Comune segnava il passo, mentre con il trasferimento al Parco archeologico sta vivendo una bella stagione artistica, teatrale e culturale. L’amministratore comunale deve aggredire i problemi e risolverli. Questo del Parco dell’Addolorata è un problema di facile risoluzione nell’interesse generale della città. Chiudersi nella torre, non serve proprio a nessuno. Da ricordare ancora che sull’area del Parco dell’Addolorata vi insistono tombe del V secolo a.C. che necessitano grande tutela che solo il Parco archeologico può assicurare. İl tempo è prezioso spetta solo al Comune decidere nell’esclusivo interesse del suo territorio. A meno che non voglia costruire un ulteriore asilo sull’area e magari sopra le tombe degli akragantini.
