“Appalti pilotati”, secondo sequestro di quasi 300.000 euro

L’inchiesta su appalti presunti pilotati: la Procura di Agrigento sequestra nuovamente quasi 300.000 euro dissequestrati a cinque indagati.

E’ come una partita di ping pong. Magistrati e avvocati difensori giocano la partita sul tavolo dell’inchiesta della Procura di Agrigento su appalti presunti turbati e pilotati. Denaro contante, esattamente 299.500 euro, prima sequestrati dalla Procura e poi dissequestrati dal Tribunale del Riesame presieduto da Wilma Mazzara, adesso sono stati ancora sequestrati a cinque indagati. Il provvedimento è stato firmato dal procuratore Giovanni Di Leo e dal sostituto Rita Barbieri, titolare del fascicolo delle indagini. I soldi sono stati nuovamente strappati alla famiglia Caramazza, imprenditori di Favara, all’architetto Sebastiano Alesci e all’ingegnere Vittorio Giarratana. Nel dettaglio: 188.800 euro a Carmela Moscato, 65 anni, madre di Federica e Dino Caramazza, indagata solo di ricettazione, ipotesi di reato legata alla custodia di tali soldi che sarebbero serviti a foraggiare le tangenti e a lubrificare gli appalti. Poi 35.000 euro solo a Federica Caramazza, e 7.900 euro a Dino Caramazza. Poi 50.000 euro a Vittorio Giarratana, di Canicattì, attualmente a capo dell’ufficio tecnico di Valguarnera Caropepe, in provincia di Enna. E poi 17.850 euro a Sebastiano Alesci, già capo dell’Ufficio tecnico comunale di Licata. Di Leo e Barbieri hanno ritenuto necessario e urgente procedere al nuovo sequestro, eseguito dai poliziotti della Squadra Mobile, perché sarebbe fondato il rischio della dispersione del denaro, ora conservato in buste sigillate in attesa della valutazione del giudice per le indagini preliminari del Tribunale di Agrigento, Giuseppa Zampino. Lei, la Zampino, è la stessa giudice che, in sede di udienza di convalida delle misure cautelari imposte lo scorso 15 maggio, pur riconoscendo il reato di associazione a delinquere non ha convalidato l’arresto ma ha, tuttavia, applicato quattro misure cautelari: ai domiciliari gli imprenditori di Favara, Luigi Sutera Sardo, 58 anni, ex consigliere provinciale ed ex assessore del Comune di Favara, e Diego “Dino” Caramazza. Poi obbligo di dimora per Federica Caramazza e Carmela Moscato. Anche Sebastiano Alesci, prima arrestato e poi scarcerato per un difetto procedurale, è stato arrestato ai domiciliari una seconda volta.
