“65 tratte aeree in più con Lampedusa e Pantelleria”

Tra luglio e agosto voleranno più aerei verso Lampedusa e Pantelleria. E l’assessore regionale a Infrastrutture e Trasporti, Alessandro Aricò, spiega perché: “Perché sulla base della domanda di mercato e delle crescenti richieste ricevute, abbiamo concordato con la compagnia Dat Volidisicilia, che opera i voli della continuità territoriale su queste due isole minori, un incremento di 65 tratte nei collegamenti con Palermo, Trapani e Catania nei due mesi centrali dell’estate 2025”. Aricò aggiunge: “Nelle pieghe del capitolo di spesa già utilizzato per il servizio abbiamo reperito le risorse per assicurare altre 47 tratte su Lampedusa, 20 a luglio e 27 ad agosto, e altre 18 su Pantelleria, 8 a luglio e 10 ad agosto. Anche tutti questi voli aggiuntivi saranno operati con le tariffe agevolate della continuità territoriale e consentiranno di sviluppare un traffico passeggeri di oltre 3000 viaggiatori in più rispetto agli attuali, venendo incontro alla grande domanda turistica delle isole siciliane, ma anche alle esigenze dei nostri cittadini che vi risiedono” – conclude l’assessore “Fratello d’Italia”. Per i residenti le tariffe variano da un minimo di 33 euro (volo Trapani-Pantelleria) a un massimo di 51 euro (volo Palermo-Lampedusa). Per i non residenti, da un minimo di 43 euro (volo Pantelleria-Trapani) a un massimo di 67 euro (volo Palermo-Lampedusa). E l’assessore a Territorio e Ambiente Giusi Savarino, anche lei “Sorella d’Italia”, apprezza e commenta: “Ringrazio il collega Alessandro Aricò per l’iniziativa che consente a Lampedusa e Pantelleria di accrescere la frequenza dei collegamenti aerei con la Sicilia nella stagione di maggiore afflusso. Si tratta di un provvedimento importante, che sottolinea la grande attenzione che il governo Schifani ha sempre avuto verso chi vive e opera nelle isole minori, per le attività economiche e turistiche che senz’altro potranno trarre beneficio dall’aumento dei voli e per i visitatori che, in numero maggiore, potranno conoscere e godere delle meraviglie naturali dei nostri territori”.
