Agrigento, riecco Piazza Concordia

Ad Agrigento, a Villaseta, conclusi i lavori di rigenerazione urbana di piazza Concordia. L’intervento dell’assessore Principato.

Ad Agrigento, a Villaseta, sono stati conclusi i lavori di riqualificazione di piazza Concordia, per 2 milioni di euro. E’ stato eseguito il collaudo ufficiale delle opere di rigenerazione urbana. Il Rup (Responsabile unico del procedimento), l’architetto Salvatore Di Salvo, e il dirigente del settore Lavori Pubblici, ingegnere Alberto Avenia, hanno avviato la procedura di rendicontazione al ministero. L’intervento, ereditato dalle precedenti amministrazioni e concretizzatosi sotto l’amministrazione Miccichè, ha trasformato la piazza in uno spazio moderno e accessibile, punto di riferimento di aggregazione per la comunità. L’appalto ha compreso la ricostruzione della pavimentazione, l’installazione di una nuova illuminazione pubblica, attraversamenti pedonali sicuri e la rimozione delle barriere architettoniche. Inoltre è stato effettuato il recupero delle strutture esistenti, restituendo alla collettività uno spazio pubblico funzionale e decoroso, e dei locali all’amministrazione Comunale.

L’assessore ai Lavori pubblici, Gerlando Principato, afferma: “L’avvenuto collaudo rappresenta un traguardo importante per Villaseta, che merita attenzione e investimenti dopo anni di marginalizzazione. Infatti, ancora a Villaseta è imminente l’avvio di un progetto di riqualificazione di via Marzabotto e delle zone limitrofe, incluso il parcheggio Cugno Vela, del valore complessivo di 10 milioni di euro. Questi interventi, parte integrante della visione dell’Amministrazione Miccichè, mirano a riqualificare l’intero quartiere, trasformando Villaseta in un simbolo di rinascita sociale ed economica”.
