Agrigento: “Subito un piano di manutenzione strade”

Ad Agrigento un Coordinamento civico ha presentato un esposto – denuncia dopo l’incidente Chiaramonti. Petizione online per la manutenzione delle strade.

Ad Agrigento il Coordinamento civico “Tutti insieme per una città normale” ha presentato un esposto – denuncia alla Procura della Repubblica, alla Corte dei Conti, alla Prefettura e all’Anac anti – corruzione. E ciò a seguito dell’incidente stradale che sabato scorso ha provocato la morte di Marco Chiaramonti. Nell’esposto si legge: “Agrigento piange morti e incidenti sulle strade killer. Prima Chiara La Mendola. Adesso Marco Chiaramonti. Tragedie che potevano essere evitate se i fondi a disposizione fossero stati usati correttamente. Il Comune disponeva di fondi vincolati per legge alla manutenzione stradale e alla sicurezza della viabilità, ma non ha speso un solo euro per riparare le strade dissestate. Ha invece scelto di comprare autovetture e lasciare le somme a bilancio. Buche profonde, alcune segnalate altre invisibili. Basta farsi un giro per alcune vie trafficate della città, come viale Emporium, via Imera, via Crispi, viale Cannatello, via dei fiumi, via Piersanti Mattarella, la zona di Calcarelle dove ricordiamo esserci scuole e il consorzio universitario, per accorgersi di come versa il manto stradale.” Una petizione online è stata lanciata sulla piattaforma Change.org “Strade sicure ad Agrigento: basta vittime”, tramite cui gli organizzatori chiedono al Comune e alle istituzioni competenti “un piano immediato di manutenzione straordinaria delle strade urbane ed extraurbane, l’utilizzo trasparente e prioritario dei fondi pubblici per la sicurezza dei cittadini, ed un canale ufficiale e funzionante per le segnalazioni dei cittadini, con tempi certi di intervento. “La sicurezza è un diritto. Non vogliamo altre croci sull’asfalto” – sottolineano.
