Antimafia “Condor”: dieci agrigentini in pendenza di condanna

La Procura Generale di Palermo ha invocato la conferma della condanna di dieci imputati agrigentini nell’ambito dell’inchiesta antimafia “Condor”.

L’11 gennaio del 2023 i Carabinieri agrigentini hanno lanciato una offensiva antimafia intitolata “Condor”. Nella parte orientale della provincia agrigentina, tra Licata, Palma di Montechiaro, Canicattì, e poi anche Favara e Agrigento, sono stati arrestati 9 indagati (5 in carcere e 4 ai domiciliari), e ad un altro è stato imposto l’obbligo di dimora. Ebbene i 10 imputati hanno scelto di essere giudicati in abbreviato. Il 23 novembre del 2023 il pubblico ministero, Claudio Camilleri, ha invocato 10 condanne per quasi un secolo di carcere. Il primo febbraio del 2024 il giudice per le udienze preliminari del Tribunale di Palermo, Ivana Vassallo, ha condannato 10 imputati a pene da 2 anni e 8 mesi a 20 anni di reclusione. Adesso in Appello il sostituto procuratore generale, Roberta Buzzolani, già procuratore di Sciacca, ha invocato, innanzi alla Corte presieduta da Raffaele Malizia, la conferma della sentenza di primo grado, ovvero:

Baldo Carapezza, 27 anni, di Agrigento, 6 anni e 8 mesi di reclusione.

Francesco Centineo, 38 anni, di Agrigento, 4 anni e 2 mesi.

Giuseppe Chiazza, 51 anni, di Canicattì, 20 anni.

Domenico Lombardo, 30 anni, di Agrigento, 10 anni e 4 mesi.

Luigi Montana, 40 anni, di Ravanusa, 3 anni e 6 mesi.

Rosario Patti, 59 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, 5 anni.

Nicola Ribisi, 42 anni, di Palma di Montechiaro, 14 anni e 2 mesi.

Giuseppe Sicilia, 43 anni, di Favara, 9 anni e 10 mesi.

Ignazio Sicilia, 47 anni, di Favara, 2 anni e 8 mesi.

Luigi Pitruzzella, 35 anni, di Agrigento, 7 anni e 8 mesi.

Prossime udienze, per le arringhe difensive i 29 ottobre, 12 e 26 novembre.

Le indagini hanno scandagliato, in particolare, gli assetti mafiosi nei territori di Favara e Palma di Montechiaro, dove, a fianco di Cosa Nostra, convivono formazioni criminali cosiddette “Paracchi”, assimilabili alla “Stidda”. A vario titolo si contestano le ipotesi di reato di associazione a delinquere di stampo mafioso finalizzata al traffico di droga, estorsioni a danno di imprenditori e danneggiamenti tramite incendio.
