DALLA TERREMOTATA L’AQUILA ALLA FRANATA AGRIGENTO PASSANDO PER LA SS189

Paolo Cilona)—L’Anas in meno di dieci anni porto’ a termine l’Autostrada detta del Sole che unisce Milano con Napoli. Da oltre dieci anni si lavora sulla SS189 per ammodernare il tratto di strada Lercara Friddi-Palermo, ovvero meno di 60 km. Eppure la SS189 ha il primato di centinaia e centinaia di morti, per questo e’ chiamata la strada della morte. Tutto appannaggio di  una classe politica assente e svogliata che anziche’ rappresentare le esigenze di sviluppo del territorio isolano se ne è stata zitta a differenza di quella lombardo-veneta. Niente treni veloci, niente aeroporto, niente autostrade, niente infrastrutture. Nonostante 234 curve, 671 incroci, due gallerie, e tanti tratti di assoluto pericolo non si e’ ancora riusciti a vedere chiusi i cantieri con semafori a più non posso per regolamentare il transito. Da oltre cinque anni il semaforo posto  sul ponte Platani tra il bivio Milena e quello per Casteltèrmini segna il passo agli automobilisti. Siamo considerati semplicemente ascariperché non protestiamo. Intanto, la strada miete vittime. E qui viene in mente quel cartellone che fu collocato lungo la SS 189 dal macabro richiamo: “Avete salutato i vostri cari  prima di percorrere la Palermo-Agrigento?”. Mancano le risorse per la SS189 mentre per il Ponte sullo Stretto vengono assegnati e sottratti ai siciliani  tanti miliardi. La gente chiede soltanto il diritto di viaggiare su strade sicure. La Brambilla, la Craxi, la Fascina l’ultima moglie di Berlusconi in quanto deputate elette in Sicilia faranno almeno una interrogazione al ministro competente ?
