La Sicilia nell’occhio del ciclone

Musumeci in Parlamento: “Nove su dieci Comuni in Sicilia sono a rischio frana”. L’aggiornamento sui provvedimenti per Niscemi e per le zone colpite dal maltempo.

L’ex presidente della Regione Siciliana, e ministro alla Protezione civile, Nello Musumeci, ha relazionato in Parlamento. E’ intervenuto sui danni provocati dal ciclone Harry. Ha rivelato, secondo dati ufficiali, che 9 Comuni su 10 in Sicilia sono ad elevato rischio frana. E che oltre il 94% dei territori in Italia sono esposti a pericolo idrogeologico, tra valanghe ed erosione costiera. Sulla frana a Niscemi ha aggiornato il bollettino: 1606 sfollati e 880 palazzine sgomberate. Ha respinto la – sono parole sue – “campagna mediatica su presunte inefficienze del governo: atti di sciacallaggio. E prima di giudicare la credibilità degli altri bisogna avere l’umiltà di pesare la propria, già dal ’97, l’anno della prima frana”. Nel frattempo a Niscemi il sindaco Massimiliano Conti ha pubblicato sul sito del Comune un avviso per una prima ricognizione degli immobili liberi, per valutarne l’acquisto o l’affitto, e poi destinarli agli sfollati. Nell’ambito dell’inchiesta, il procuratore Salvatore Vella nominerà a breve dei consulenti tecnici. Si procede ancora a carico di ignoti, per le ipotesi di disastro colposo e danneggiamento. L’Irfis, l’agenzia finanziaria della Regione, ha sospeso per un anno le rate dei mutui alle aziende attive nei 213 Comuni inseriti dalla Protezione civile nell’ordinanza in base alla quale è stato approvato lo stato di emergenza. Ed è stato aumentato il contributo a fondo perduto che la Regione, dopo avere pubblicato il bando e formata la graduatoria, pagherà entro fine marzo alle imprese danneggiate dal ciclone Harry. Il primo assegno sarà fino a un massimo di 20.000 euro, invece dei 5.000 ipotizzati la settimana scorsa.
