Strage di Monreale: tre rinvii a giudizio

Per reati punibili col massimo della pena, ovvero l’ergastolo, il giudizio abbreviato, che concede lo sconto di un terzo della pena, non è più ammesso. Pertanto il giudice per le udienze preliminari del Tribunale di Palermo, Marta Maria Bossi, ha negato l’abbreviato e ha rinviato a giudizio ordinario in Corte d’Assise i tre presunti responsabili della strage di Monreale, tre morti e due feriti, il 27 aprile del 2025. Si tratta di Salvatore Calvaruso, 19 anni, Samuel Acquisto, 18 anni, e Mattias Conti, 20 anni, tutti dello Zen. A sparare sarebbero stati Calvaruso e Conti. Invece Acquisto, senza premere il grilletto, avrebbe incitato i compagni a sparare e poi avrebbe guidato la Bmw Gs nera con cui il gruppo si è allontanato. A dieci chilometri da Palermo, a Monreale, in via Benedetto D’Acquisto, innanzi alla Caffetteria 365, a ridosso di piazza Duomo, all’1:30 della notte si è scatenata una rissa tra due gruppi di persone, uno di monrealesi e l’altro di palermitani provenienti dai quartieri Zen e Borgo Nuovo: calci, pugni, lancio di bottiglie, tavolini e sedie. E poi la sparatoria. Sono morti Salvatore Turdo, 23 anni, e Massimo Pirozzo, 26 anni, deceduti poco dopo essere stati trasportati agli ospedali Ingrassia e Civico a Palermo. Tre i feriti, di 16, 25 e 33 anni, di cui uno in gravi condizioni, poi morto anche lui, Andrea Miceli, il 25enne, cugino di Salvatore Turdo. Le vittime sono tutte di Monreale, incensurate. Sono stati sparati 18 colpi di pistola. A scatenare la rissa sarebbe stato un apprezzamento dei monrealesi sul modo di guidare il motorino dei palermitani, a velocità tra i tavoli. Il giudice ha ammesso la costituzione come parte civile dei familiari dei morti, del Comune di Palermo e della Regione Siciliana.
